Community Nonprofits and Community Colleges Improve Outcomes for Low-Income People

This is exactly the type of partnership that needs to be developed if for no other reason (although there are tons of other reasons to do so!) than it just makes so much sense! Community colleges offer a way to get ahead for people that are having difficulty getting the job skills they need to survive.

While there are a lot of people that have skills for jobs, they may be lacking the professional comportment that is discussed in the video. This sort of partnership also allows for barriers to be broken down because of the commitment that the 'students' are making--be they new immigrants, recently released former inmates, or another marginalized group.
